We get it. You’re simple. You’re sexy. You’re effortless.
But let’s be real – you’ll never be a substitute for our beloved window crank. Sure, there was a little effort involved, but with that effort came full control. No accidental rolling the window down too far in the rain. No searching for the little button or the perfect spot for the perfect airflow. With the crank, it was always just right.
And here’s the beauty of it: we could roll the windows up or down even when the car was off, and the keys were nowhere to be found. It was like an old-school magic trick. You didn’t need to rely on anything else – you were in control, always.
But now? Now we live in a push-button world. We’ve lost something, haven’t we?
