Dear Fellow Travelers,
Consider this a little manifesto for the start of the year: a dangerous idea wrapped in a love letter to your own passions. We live in a world where we’re often told to find a job, fit into a role, and let someone else profit from our efforts. But what if the most radical act of love—for yourself and for the world—is to flip that script?
Imagine taking what you adore, the thing that lights you up, and finding a way to let it sustain you. This isn’t about turning everything into a hustle or chasing profit for profit’s sake. It’s about refusing to let your passions be the thing you squeeze into the margins of your life. Instead, it’s letting them take center stage. It’s saying, “My joy is not a side gig. It’s the main event.”
So here’s to the dangerous idea that maybe we can all be a little more like artists, crafting lives where work and love are not enemies. Where Monday mornings are not something to dread, but a canvas we get to paint with what we love most. After all, the world could use a few more people who are alive with what they do.
With love and a little rebellion,
