Dear Other Side of the Planet,
Thank you for showing us that there’s more than one way to dance with wisdom. In the West, we often charge ahead with our love of the empirical and the logical, and sometimes we forget that there’s a whole other side to the conversation – a side that’s been exploring the inner world, the quiet mind, and the interconnectedness of all things for centuries.
We’re not here to crown one approach over the other but to say thank you for reminding us that we need both. We need the West and the East, the yin and the yang, the rational and the intuitive. Together, they help us see a fuller picture of what it means to be seekers of wisdom.
