Dear Mr. President,
You like to say you “ended seven wars.”
Perhaps you believe that.
But the truth is this:
While you were busy taking credit for ending wars abroad…
you were quietly starting wars at home.
Not with tanks.
Not with troops.
But with something far more corrosive:
A relentless assault on truth, trust, and the ties that hold a democracy together.
So let’s count the actual wars you launched:
You started the war on truth.
Where facts became optional
and lies became strategy.
You started the war on science.
Where experts became enemies
and data became “just another opinion.”
You started the war on journalism.
Reporters became traitors.
Questions became attacks.
Accountability became “fake news.”
You started the war on disagreement.
Anyone who challenged you
instantly became the villain in your chosen narrative.
That’s not leadership – that’s cult behavior.
You started the war on poor people.
Punishing the most vulnerable
while praising the most powerful.
You started the war on immigrants.
Families torn apart,
children in cages,
and an entire generation taught to fear.
You started the war on women’s autonomy.
You didn’t just attack abortion rights –
you helped ignite a movement
that views women’s bodies as state property.
You started the war on the separation of church and state.
You blurred the lines
that protect both faith and freedom.
You started the war on equality.
Against LGBTQ+ Americans.
Against civil rights.
Against any progress that didn’t personally benefit you.
You started the war on the justice system.
Judges became enemies.
Prosecutors became villains.
The law became something to bend, dodge, or weaponize.
You started the war on peaceful assembly.
Americans expressing their grievances
were treated as threats
instead of citizens exercising their constitutional rights.
You started the war on climate action.
Rolling back protections,
dismissing scientists,
and betting our children’s future
on your own disbelief.
You started the war on shared reality.
And this is the most dangerous war of all.
Because once a country stops agreeing on what is true,
everything else becomes possible –
including tyranny.
Mr. President,
you didn’t end seven wars.
You just moved the battlefield home.
And we’re still digging out of the damage.
Sincerely,
— The Radical Left
